To raise the public awareness of problems relating to football gambling in the run-up to Euro 2016 and generate fun and enjoyment for the community, the Ping Wo Fund (PWF) rolled out a dedicated publicity campaign in the theme of “Leading a Healthy Life, No Gambling” from March to July 2016. The campaign featured extensive activities at districts and territory-wide to discourage football gambling to people of all ages. The campaign was widely supported by partners and schools and an array of educational and publicity programmes were organised for students and members of the public at different districts at the same time.
The PWF collaborated with the local design brand “Chocolate Rain”, featuring the main characters – Fatina, Chefo and their friends as the campaign ambassadors to help promote the theme of “Healthy Living, No Gambling!”
